And in the previous verses, Lord Krishna started saying that one should dedicate one’s life, energy, and time to raise oneself by oneself, not waiting for others.

You know, certain times, certain opportunities, certain teachers, certain abilities — you should raise yourself by yourself all the time. Why? Because the nature of the mind is going downwards, toward the senses and toward objects.

And if the mind is not checked, then the interaction with objects can become indulgence, can become dependency, can become addiction, and can take you down. So you have to be very alert, because this is the tendency of the mind. So you have to raise the mind upwards.

[/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=”🔸 2. We are not taking the time to recognize it. We take it for granted: “I just see, I just think, I just plan,” as if it’s obvious. But you should say it is not obvious.

There is divine intelligence operating in your eyes. There is divine intelligence operating in your mind. There is divine intelligence operating behind your emotional system.

In fact, your whole body is like a shrine. By feeding it with the right, appropriate things that will elevate — elevate your vision, elevate your thinking.

Because so many times, if we start to indulge, at a certain point we create disorders within ourselves.
